Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Bags Over 20 Awards at District Level, Brings Laurels to the City
Rotary Club of Jamshedpur achieved a remarkable feat by winning more than 20 prestigious awards at the Rotary District 3250 Awards Ceremony Shukrana, held at Hotel Maurya, Patna on 21st June 2026, emerging as one of the top-performing clubs among the 119 Rotary Clubs spread across Bihar and Jharkhand.
The highlight of the evening was the club being conferred the coveted Outstanding Club Award, one of the highest recognitions at the district level. The award acknowledges the club’s excellence in various service projects, administration, membership engagement, project execution, public image, youth development, and overall contribution to Rotary during the year.
The club’s exceptional performance was further recognized through several major awards, including the Outstanding President Award, Best Secretary Award, Best Bulletin Award, Best Reporting in Rotary International and Best Youth Services Award, besides numerous awards for impactful community service projects undertaken throughout the Rotary year.
A matter of immense pride for the club was the recognition of Rtn. Capt. Anil Kumar Pandey with the Outstanding President Award and Rtn. Vinod Menon, Hon. Secretary of the club, with the Best Secretary Award, acknowledging their exemplary leadership, dedication, and commitment to Rotary ideals.
Adding to the celebrations, Rotary Spouse Surya Venkat, wife of Past President Rtn. K.N. Venkat, was honoured with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award for her long-standing contribution to Rotary service and community welfare.
The awards reflect the collective efforts of the club members and the success of numerous service initiatives undertaken in the fields of healthcare, education, youth development, water management, community welfare, and humanitarian service. Through these projects, the club has positively impacted thousands of lives across the region.
Club leaders attributed the success to the unwavering support of members, past presidents, senior Rotarians, Rotary spouses, and volunteers who have consistently worked towards strengthening the club’s legacy.
As the oldest Rotary Club in Bihar and Jharkhand, Rotary Club of Jamshedpur continues to uphold Rotary’s motto, “Service Above Self,” and remains committed to creating meaningful and sustainable impact in society.
