School Competitions Organised Ahead of Inauguration of Redeveloped Bimalgarh Railway Station Chakradharpur, 13 July 2026: As part of the celebrations leading up to the redeveloped Bimalgarh Railway Station under ABSS scheme, Chakradharpur Division organised a series of school-level competitions to promote awareness and encourage the active participation of students in this significant occasion. The competitions included Elocution, Essay Writing, and Painting, providing a platform for students to showcase their creativity, ideas, and communication skills while fostering a sense of pride and ownership towards the development of railway infrastructure in the region. A total of 965 students from three schools enthusiastically participated in the competitions.
Following evaluation by the respective judging panels, 27 students were declared winners across the three categories and will be felicitated for their outstanding performances. The overwhelming response from students reflects the strong connect between the Railways and the local community. The initiative also aimed to inspire young minds to appreciate the role of Indian Railways in regional development and nation-building.
